"To love, to learn, to grow in faith".

Welcome to St Leo’s Catholic School
We pride ourselves on being a small, family orientated school with small class sizes and experienced and passionate teachers. Our Catholic School is part of a Christ centred community of faith guided by our Mercy values. We aim to educate the whole child – mind, body and spirit – promoting both excellence and integrity in all our students.

We are not zoned so all enrolments are welcome.

Principal's Welcome

Nau Mai Haere Mai,

My name is Vimi Chandra and I am very proud as principal to lead and serve St Leo’s Catholic School. Our school values of compassion, hospitality, respect, service and social justice are extremely important to us and are the essence of our school curriculum. St Leo’s students stand proud and strong in their faith. They respect themselves, others and creation. Our students are encouraged to be active participants in their school/parish community.

At St Leo’s, we want children to feel happy and secure to develop self confidence in a safe and supportive environment where learning is central to all that we do. Through our rich curriculum we aim to develop the whole child and encourage our students to strive for excellence. To enable this to happen, our very dedicated teachers aim to prepare our students for a future that is ever changing. This learning is underpinned by our Mercy values and encapsulates our mission “to love, to learn, to grow in faith”.

At St Leo’s we embrace the opportunity to teach your child the skills, knowledge and attitudes to become confident, creative and curious learners who are connected to the community and wider world. St Leo’s is a strong and supportive community and it is a place where learning is fun! Please feel free to visit us or contact the school for further information.
