Principal's WelcomeNau Mai Haere Mai,
At St Leo’s, we want children to feel happy and secure to develop self confidence in a safe and supportive environment where learning is central to all that we do. Through our rich curriculum we aim to develop the whole child and encourage our students to strive for excellence. To enable this to happen, our very dedicated teachers aim to prepare our students for a future that is ever changing. This learning is underpinned by our Mercy values and encapsulates our mission “to love, to learn, to grow in faith”. At St Leo’s we embrace the opportunity to teach your child the skills, knowledge and attitudes to become confident, creative and curious learners who are connected to the community and wider world. St Leo’s is a strong and supportive community and it is a place where learning is fun! Please feel free to visit us or contact the school for further information. |

Dear Parents
Please don't forget your car seats tomorrow if your child requires one to travel to the Science Roadshow. Please make them identifiable.
Kind regards
Renee
Dear Parents
1. On Thursday 23 July St Clare and St Catherine classes will be going to The Depot to see the Matariki display.
They will be leaving school at 9.40am and walking to The Depot and will be back around 11.30am.
We will need at least 2 parents from each class to accompany Ms Chandra and the children.
There is no permission form for this trip as it is covered by our EOTC blanket consent form that you have all signed.
2. On Friday 24 July the Kapa Haka group (all year 3 - 6 children) will be performing at William Sanders Village on Ngataringa Rd
We will be leaving school at 9.40am for a 10am performance and then coming back to school. The children will be walking there and back.
Again we don't need permission but do need at least 4 parents to accompany us.
If you are able to help on either of these trips please let me know.
Kind regards
Renee
Dear Parents of younger children
Just a reminder that if you want your child in a car seat or booster to go to the Science roadshow at Hauraki School on Friday please drop your clearly named car seat or booster into the office on Friday morning.

Dear Parents
Due to Mr M being away sick for two days last week and the fact that some students are not ready to present their speeches today the finals have been postponed to the same time Wednesday.
