The countdown to the fair is on. 

Monday 9th - Renee will not be in the office from 2.30pm

Tuesday 10th - Music with Dominic
                 Playgroup 9.15am
                 St Leo's Feast Day & Unveiling of the Mary grotto 10am (feel free to come along)
                 Assembly 2.15pm
                 After funeral cup of tea in the hall so hall not available for fair set up until Wed morning

Wednesday 11th - Music with Dominic

Thursday 12th - Peninsula Kapa Haka festival - years 3 -6 leaving school at 9am returning by 11.30am.  If you haven't yet returned your permission form please do so by Monday.

Friday 13th - orders for calendar art close.  Please pay into PTFa account and return order form to the office.

Sunday 15th - School fair.  Notice coming home over the weekend regarding the time you need to be here to set up your stall.

Other notices - 
Needed for the fair - large chilly bins for fair day - if you have one could you please bring it to the office on Friday 13th well named.

Slices/muffins/cupcakes etc to sell at the cafe.  If you can make something please let Renee know.

Calendar art order forms were sent home earlier in the week.  Order forms need to be returned by Friday 13th.

Dear Parents, 

We are excited to share that our school Kapa Haka rōpū has been invited to perform at the Love Your Maunga ki Takarunga Community Day!

This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to showcase their learning, represent our school, and celebrate the cultural heritage and restoration of Takarunga / Mount Victoria.

Important Performance & Attendance Notice:
To ensure a strong performance, we need a minimum number of students participating. If we do not have enough children able to attend, our rōpū will unfortunately be unable to perform, and the performance slot will be opened up to other schools in the area.

Event Details:
• Date: Saturday, 28 November
• Time: Starts at 11:00 AM (exact performance time to be confirmed)
• Location: Takarunga / Mount Victoria
• RSVP Deadline: Please let us know by this Friday, 6 November, if you can bring your child to participate.

Event Highlights:
• School Kapa Haka performance
• Interactive Kēmu Māori (traditional games) & Kids' Zone
• Cultural performances, live entertainment, and market stalls
• Guided activities around conservation and mātauranga Māori

Please reply to confirm whether your child will be able to attend and perform so we can finalise our numbers.

Athletics Day - thank you to those who said they could help.  Please report to Mr M on arrival at the sports field.  Leaving school 9.15am to walk to the sports fields.  Children to wear PE gear.  They can run in either trainers or bare feet.

Carmel College Orientation Day

Other notices

If you have items of good quality clothing, toys, bric a brac and books for the fair these can now be delivered to the office during school hours.
Bigger items can be dropped off the week of the fair as we don't have access to the hall until then.

Fair dollars will go on sale from Monday.  These are booklets of 12 x $1 that you can give to your children so they don't have to carry cash around on the day.  These are $10 each so you get $2 free.  The only stalls that won't accept these are outside agencies.

This year for the Christmas parade we will be combining with the local churches.  If you child would like to be on the float as an angel, shepherd or something nativity related please let us know.

We are still looking for a face painter for the fair so if you know of anyone that could help us out please let us know.
There are still some spaces left on stalls that need filling so if you haven't signed up yet we would appreciate hearing from you.
