It was All Roads Lead to Rome today at St Patricks. The boys and girls have reached the final stage of their inquiry journey that had begun with the first steps into archaeology, gone through research into Ancient Rome, and finished with models, costumes and a photo shoot. Quintus Quintilian (the Gaul) and many others wore togas, tunics and a touch of very special purple for the big presentation.

The boys and girls had become so attached to their Roman models that it seemed a shame for it all to end. Good news – we will be putting our models on display in the library in Week 2. There may even be an opportunity for quick touch ups. I guess Rome wasn’t built in a day.
