As part of our maths study on time, the girls and boys of St Patrick set out to design their own sundials to help them tell the time. We were blessed with two sunny days so we could mark out our sun dials and check them for accuracy the next day. No excuse for being late now, St Patricks!
The boys and girls came up with some very interesting questions while they were making their sundials. Would it tell the same time in winter as well as summer?
What if the sun doesn’t always come up at the same time?
