St Francis made catapults

Today we learnt that the big pompoms went the furtherest when shot out of the catapult.

The small pompoms and marshmallows went straight up because they were lighter.  The heavier things stayed lower and went further.

The distance the objects we tested went, depended on the angle of the catapult and the weight of the object. The bigger the angle is the more push there is.

The best thing of all about what we did with Mrs Harris was, we got to have marshmallows at the end!
